Our sixth album, ”World Domination”, stormed the streets in October last year, but as the situation was far from normal both before and after the release many things associated with a standard album launch got more or less screwed.

However, as a positive note, the world turmoil meant that we had time to concentrate on other tasks, both individually and collectively, things that will certainly be a strength for us in the long run.

This together with the fact that almost all material for the last album was written 12-18 months before the actual recording, made me very eager and keen to start buzzing on new tunes as soon as “World Domination” was nailed and finished.

Therefore, I’m now very pleased to announce that (all?) the material for our seventh album has been written and finalized, meaning we can move into the next, pre-production, phase.

We aim to have the new album out before wrapping up 2021. Relevant updates along the path will of course be announced once available.

Demonical and vocalist Alexander Högbom have parted ways without involvement of neither deep drama nor bad blood.

This has been in the making for quite some time - even if not publically revealed - as already five months ago Alexander informed the rest of us about his need to step back after Scandinavia Deathfest 2019 in order to focus on other things in life.

We respect Alex's decision, want to thank him for all the years in the band, and wish him the very best of luck for the future, whatever it might hold.

As death stands for marching on, we would like to hereby welcome Christofer Säterdal to the ranks as our new frontman!
Chris has proven his quality and dedication in various bands during the years - with Swedish viking-metallers Fimbultyr being the most prominent one - and the rehearsals and recordings done during the summer have made us confident that he is the right one to carry on the torch.

Our three upcoming shows in England in September have all been cancelled! The one to blame is purely and solely the promoter, Gavin Davies and his Eradication Agency, who has been unable to fulfill the contract and stick to what has been agreed.

On top of this, Gavin has shown an utterly unprofessional behavior with not answering e-mails and keeping our agent informed. Not until the tone raised Gavin showed some balls, crawled to the cross and admitted he has failed big time (once again)!

We are sorry for this and those who wanted to witness our HM-2 Stockholm style madness. We might play the UK sometime in the future if some good reliable promoter books us. If not, your loss.

As most of you certainly know by now there has been some turmoil regarding the upcoming Stockholm Slaughter festival. Even if the debate has not involved us - and we aim to keep it that way - we are pleased to announce that a solution has been reached and the festival will happen with the line-up intact.

However, MARDUK and TAAKE are not allowed to perform at the Fryshuset venue on Saturday as originally scheduled, instead, these two acts will play an early afternoon show at a different venue on Sunday 29 April.

We want to salute the organizers of the festival for riding out the storm and for showing utter professionalism, dedication and will.
